Getting here
The studio sits on Soi Sukhumvit 63 — the road Bangkok calls Ekkamai — inside Maru Condo at number 70/2. From BTS Ekkamai it is roughly 650 metres: leave the station on the Sukhumvit 63 side and keep walking up the soi. Eight to ten minutes on foot, two minutes by motorbike taxi from the mouth of the soi.
From Thonglor it is one BTS stop, or a short taxi across Sukhumvit 55. From Phrom Phong or Asok, three and four stops respectively. Drivers know Maru Condo; if not, "Sukhumvit soi 63, Ekkamai" is enough.
Coming late? We take sessions until 01:00. The last BTS train leaves around midnight, so plan a taxi back if you book after 23:00.
What Ekkamai guests usually book
Ekkamai is a residential, work-from-home, gym-and-office neighbourhood rather than a tourist strip, and it shows in what people ask for. Three patterns cover most of it.
Desk-job neck and shoulders. The most common complaint we hear, by a wide margin. That is deep tissue work, sometimes combined with a head-neck-shoulder session. We wrote a full guide to it in the journal: office syndrome in Bangkok.
Training recovery. Ekkamai and Thonglor are full of gyms, muay thai camps and running groups. Traditional Thai massage before a session and deep tissue after it are the usual pairing.
Switching off. Aroma oil work, late in the evening, after a long day. Slower, quieter, no deep pressure.
Why people come back here rather than to the spa next door
Ekkamai has no shortage of massage. What is scarce is consistency — the same quality of hands on your second visit as on your first, and someone keeping track of what was worked on last time.
That is the part HIDE is built around. After a first visit we note your body's condition and what it responded to. Every session ends with a short written summary. The next therapist reads it before you walk in. Over three or four visits this stops being a series of massages and starts being a plan.
The founder spent more than eight months in Bangkok looking for therapists who work at this level before opening in 2022. That search is the whole reason the studio exists — the longer version is on the main page.
